    Hi M.H.H

Back pain should usually settle by itself within a week, two at most. If it has been 7 months then it is now chronic and you need to do a few things to remove it.

Back pain comes because certain muscles are tight, some others are weaker, and a few joints will not be moving correctly.

To stop your back pain you need to address all of these or it will return again sooner or later. It is easy to do though.

There are a few things you can do immediately to help remove the pain now. Then concentrate on fixing all the areas causing the problems.

The link below gives you some things that will help now, and feel free to email me for any advice you need.

    All the best

Well it depends upon the cause. Icing helps, heat can help, Ibuprofen helps inflammation and swelling.

Back exercises help to strengthen it.
