pinched nerve? upper back pain causing vomiting?
Right at my bra line on my upper back it hurts soooooo bad that it radiates to my stomach and makes me throw up. Once I throw up I feel a bit better but this pain is up there with labor pains. I would actually rather be in labor then have this back pain. I never had it before until after I gave birth to my daughter in late november 08. I had an epidural after 30 hours of labor then ended up having a c section. I dont think that had anything to do with it, but it hurts sooooooo bad that sometimes I cant take the pain. I have a hugely high pain tolerance too. I have been to my chiropractor and when he gives me an adjustment it takes the pain away. I also saw my regular dr for this and he thinks its a sever muscle spasm so he gave me some flexeril but I HATE taking pain meds or muscle relaxers. Has anyone experienced this before and what have they done for it. Im desperate. ANY help is appreciated. Also my Chiro said it feels like a compounded injury like I fell hard on my butt, but that has never happened. He said it could be bone on nerve. I just dont know.

I have scoliosis and major pain a little higher than bra line always on the right. It also can make me nausious. The doctor says its a nerve being pinched by swollen muscles and they shouldn't be so close because of the curvature.
April 29th, 2009 at 9:28 pmAnyway pinched nerves are horriblly painful, Flexiril has a relaxing effect and the only relief I have found,better than vicoden for that pain.But it does take some getting used to . I only take them when its bad and they do make me tired but the next day I take another and by the end of the day it is usually gone again.
