Back pain in pregnancy, 12weeks along. ?

I'm 12weeks pregnant, when i was about 5 weeks along i slipped and fell in my house, fell onto laminated flooring but it wasn't sore and it didn't harm me at all, but a week after that it's just sore all the time, when i stand up for more than 15mins it starts getting sore, if i do too much house work or anything it will ache.

It's not my coxyc bone, it's in my left bum cheek, about an inch away from the very bottom of my coxyc bone. Do you know the feeling when you need to crack a bone in your body and it gets really sore if you don't do it? Well that's the pain i've got, i've tried everything to crack it but it never does. I think i've managed to crack it once before and the pain went away for a few days, then it came back since then i've never been able to get rid of it.

I've tried a hot water bottle, resting up when it gets sore, when i lie down i can control the pain but when i get up my legs just give way because all my bones in my lower back & top of my legs have all seized up and i just fall over.

I can't stop moving about forever, i don't have a busy lifestyle but i just can't stand up for lengths of time which i would like to do once in a while. I can't take any medication but i've tried everything else like gentle exercising, hot water bottles, resting up, stretching, massages. Nothing works. My doctor seems to think it's just because i'm pregnant, but i don't think so as i've not got a bump, so my back isn't taking all the strain of the babys weight or bump.

Anyone got any ideas of how to get rid of this pain without resorting to anything that would harm my baby. I can handle it for my baby but i really find it annoying. Sorry this is long!
i mean bum bone, i think i spelt coxyc wrong.

This sounds like it has something to do with your sciatic nerve. You may check into that. I know when I was pregnant, I had to go to a massage therapist to ease the pain. Although, I don't know if they can help you until you are a little farther along.

Bless your heart! You're gonna be hurting in alot more places than that pretty soon. That back of yours is going to be sore for a few years so try to get used to it. Not to be full of gloom and doom, but it's going to get much worse before it gets better. Just try to relax and not get too parnoid about all of the aches and pains. As long as you have mentioned it to your Dr. and she thinks it's ok you can stop worrying. (sitting on pillows helps a little). It all passes though. Remember none of it lasts forever and you are built to handle it. You have so much joy coming your way! Congratulations and good luck!

I've been getting this too mainly from sitting down too long, well longer than 40 mins which sucks cos my train journey to work and back every day is 1 hr each way!

I've also been getting a stabby acute pain in my right butt cheek which shoots down my leg if iv been lying down for too long which i think is linked to the sciatic nerve.

Looks like our pregnancies are going to be filled with back pain doesn't it!
