Pain Medication cures/helps premature ejaculation?

I was recently told that if you take pain medication it will prevent premature ejaculation. Is this true?

What kind of pain medicine? Opitates? If so, yes it will prevent premature ejaculation. Mostly because it’s amazingly hard to actually ejaculate when taking them.

No but some prescription meds might interfere with your erections. Using local meds like benzocaine will numb your penis and takes away much of the pleasure.

Local anesthetic will probably prevent you getting an erection in the first place.

I’m not sure about systemic pain medication, but certain anti-depressants such as prozac produce delayed ejeculation in about 50% of cases. In extreme cases it might be worth a try, although there are usually ways around the problem that don’t involve taking drugs!
