Acupuncture – Do you recommend for lower back pain / herniated/buldging discs? ?
I have L4, L5 discs that are herniated/buldging.
Do you recommend acupuncture for pain relief?
How was/is your experience with acupuncture and lower back pain?

May 1st, 2009 at 9:29 amI would certainly recommend it along with a program of physical therapy. The needles are not painful and you should feel no aftermath from the treatment. The needles are going to help to relax the muscles that have been affected and that will bring relief. The treatment will not affect the underlying cause of the problem and therefore the physical therapy treatment. The combination is usually excellent in resolving the pain and dysfunction that are present.
