cures for severe abdominal pain?
i have been sick for 6 days with abdominal pain that feels like someone is twisting my stomach, and it is very bothersome. It has caused me to miss 4 days of school and i really want to feel better ASAP. I went to the doctor on thursday and he prescribed zantac but i have not seen any difference. He has also sent for some blood, urine, and fecal tests to be done but the pain is what is bothering me the most. This is not your normal stomach discomfort, and i have felt like this before but never for this long. Any help??? :’(

Not to scare you but check out these websites please…they are about crohn’s disease…I was diagnosed with it in 2001 but before then i went through quite a few years of being misdiagnosed and treated all the way from having my appendix removed to my gulbaldder removed to being told that it was ulcers and colitis…..none of these things were correct…so just check these out and see if they sound at all right and then discuss it with your doctor…good luck
November 1st, 2009 at 7:47 am6 days of abdominal pain… you really have great pain tolerance…. anyway, i dont know, it depends of which part of your abdomen, is it in the upper or lower portion… what happends when you have food intake? will it worsen the pain or it will be relieved? do you have regular bowel movements?
sorry, i have lot of questions… but, if zantac doesnt work for you, why don’t you try to consult your doctor again regarding the abdominal pain…. so he can address it more clearly…. or ask for second opinion…
