back pain. aching dull and sharp pain in lower back. is it a pinched nerve?

pain that travels from lower back down in to groin and testicals. is this a pinched nerve? it acts up lots more these days since i am now 48 yrs old. but ne way this stems from a hard blow to the back while working on a drilling rig when i was 19. old injuries sure do come back to haunt u.i can barely walk around wal mart with my wife because of this dehablitating pain. guess its time to see the doc.
