Questions about the hips and lower back pain?

Alright I been noticing something, at first I thought this was just normal lower back pain, please bare with me has I try to explain. I have been having problems walking mainly on my right side no pain in the leg though sometimes the leg was a little number the muscles in my lower have been tight but have been loosening up some lately mainly been laying flat on my back an rubbing the spot and just getting out a bit more then normal has been helping. But the limp I have with my right leg is still there its like I am not getting full range of motion on it and talked with someone today and they have said I have always walked with a slight limp on my right side just it has become more noticeable in the past few months. So may question is what could it be and I did some feeling of my body and the tip of my hip feels higher then it should on my right side, and could the problem with a hip have been causing my problems? Oh and I am 25 male and don’t have any insurance currently.

This is just odd cause I never had pain in my hip.

try lying on your back and pull your knees to your chest and hold for about 30 seconds, then take you left knee and pull toward your right shoulder and repeat with the right knee to the left shoulder, hold and feel the streach in your butt and lower back. Do it gently and add pressure slowly. Sounds like your pelvis suffered some injury. You need to see a good chiropractor

I have that same problem from a fall I had years ago. The longer it goes untreated, the worse it will get.

It is so hard to know just based on this. Keep in mind that if you did pull something, or something went out of whack, it takes a long time for things to return to normal. Everything swells up in there in the wrong positions and as it starts to return to normal, everything has to go back to it’s rightful place and that takes time and even more discomfort.

It is possible that the actual problem is with your OTHER side, leg/hip/back, etc. that would cause you to be over compensating with the side that is bothering you. Maybe one leg is a bit shorter than the other or something like that.

The side that is bothering you: Try laying flat on your back on your kitchen table (on the edge) and slowly letting that leg drift off the table to the floor. Just let it hang and relax for a couple of minutes. See if that helps everything stretch and relax.

Of course you know you need a doc and an orthopedist.
