Very painful pinching pain in lower back on left side just above buttocks..HELP!!!!?

I have been having back pain for about 8 months now. Previously it felt like bone on bone grinding in the middle of back. I went to a chiropractor and he showed me my xrays, at the bottom of my spine it was all white (looked as if it was acually bone on bone, no dark spots in between). He told me what it was but I have forgotten unfortunatley. I know I have a tilted pelvis so its almost like I have one leg lnger than the other however they are the same length. I went a few times to the chiropractor and that pain got better but I was not able to continue to go due to lack of funds and time off work was hard to schedule. I no longer have the "bone on bone" feeling but now for the past 3 months I have had a pinching pain in my lower left back on left side, just above my buttocks. The pain extends into my thigh, stops, then starts again in my calf. The pain in my lower back and thigh is constant, my calf hurts maybe 3 times a day, almost feels like my calf muscle has a "charlie horse" in it, very painful and makes it feel like it wants to drawl up. I am also having numbness and tingling from my mid-calf down to my foot. Sometimes the pain is so bad, I literally break down and cry (and I can assure you I have a high tolerance for pain). I have been to my family doctor and they just give me muscle relaxers and dismiss me. The muscle relaxers dont help and nobody is even doing any kind of tests to see what it is even though I have told my family doctor what my chiropractor had seen on my xray. I need help to know what is wrong with me and some help on how to fix it! I relate my back problems back to when I was about 7 I fell on a car transmission and folded over it backwards (it was a car transmission that was laying in the yard) lol. I just need some help and advice, because my doctors dismiss me, I think due to my age (I am 23). Can anyone tell me what is causing my pain?! **Sorry so long**

Having had my share of back problems, I fell out of a care when I was three and hit by one when I was seven, I know how bad they can be and how little others seem to know about them at that point. I was going to the chiriopractor 2 times minimum a month for treatment. That all stopped last Dec. when I used the muscle relaxing techniques I found. They release the muscles where the pain comes from because they are being pinched. Once the muscles were released the pain was gone and no need for the chiropractor anymore. Here are the two exercises I used for my back. The one for your lower back you can do all the way to the tip of the tailbone and find relief. Also is included one for your lower leg muscle and tendon which must be what is giving you trouble there. Here they are:
    Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg or even over it if you can, the more over the better it is. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.
For lower back, on the buttocks:
Put both hands behind your back and place them on the muscles alongside your spine and press on them and hold. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. When the release starts to happen, slowly lower yourself forward as far as you can go. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for one minute longer.
    foot:
With that foot in your lap, take both your hands and place them on the back of the tendon about one inch apart at ankle level. Press the tendon hard between your fingers and thumbs and hold that pressure there. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After 30 seconds slowly raise the front of your foot as far as it will go. Then remove the pressure but hold your foot there for one minute longer.

Back pain is bad, been there. No big mystery, you have an extruded disc pinching on nerves. Cold packs, muscle relaxers, sleep on your back with a pillow under your thighs.

See if you can get some Tylenol 4 from you doctor, if not then 2 aspirins every 4 housrs with food or milk. Cold packs will help as much anything. DO NOT use hot packs.
