Would my back pain get worse during pregnancy?

I have to go the the chiropractor regularly, mainly for neck and shoulder pain. Sometimes I have low back pain as well. I have an old injury in my neck and wonder if the strain of a pregnancy would cause me to have more pain? My husband and I want to start a family, but I am so scared what that will do to my back.

✮ Jacob is Due October 4th ✮ Says:

Pregnancy does cause back pain, mostly because of the weight gain and extra pressure on your back from the weight being carried. Not to mention your breasts will enlarge and put more pressure on your back and shoulders.

Talk to your doctor and your chiropractor. They would have better answers for you and help you to decide how to lessen the pain.

Yes, having kids messes your back up…and not just the pregnant part. I picked my son up from the back seat of the car and wrenched my back so bad I couldn’t walk for 2 days.
