What causes pain in my lower left abdomen, the pain seems to worsen when I change my sitting position?

    It shouldn’t be your appendix–that’s on the right side in most people. If it’s very low in your abdomen, it could be ovulation pain or an ovarian cyst. If you have a cyst, it might be painful sometimes. If an ovarian cyst ruptures, it causes sharp stabbing pain that goes away in a few hours.

    I would suggest having it checked out if the pain doesn’t go away.

    lower left is your apendix, honey.
    get to the ER now.

    I thought your appendix was on the right side. Anyhow it might just be trapped gas. Try to fart or something. If it doesn’t go away, go see a doctor it could be serious.
