Is lower back pain and hip pain cause of pregnancy?
I have really bad back pain and my hips hurt. I was telling my friend and he told me that I might be pregnant. Is that true?

Back and hip pain does not cause pregnancy, bit it could be a symptom of it. It could also be a symptom of other things. Go to your doctor and get checked out.

December 4th, 2009 at 7:14 pmYou do get lower back pain from being pregnant, but its farther into the pregnancy, to the point where you can tellyour prego from your tummy not your back. You caould have just slept wrong, or pulled something. I have back pain sometimes and I am certainly not pregnant.
December 4th, 2009 at 7:14 pmyou could be pregnant. if you are indeed pregnant, it causes backpain since you gain weight during pregnancy and your hips have to expand to accomodate the baby. if you aren’t pregnant, it could be caused by urinary tract infections, or, you’ve been confined in a chair a lot with poor posture.
