Lower back exercises?

Are there any easy lower back exercises I can do to strengthen up that area.. I have a 18 month old baby so I am always lifting her up and down and I am noticing twinges in my lower back from time to time. I think its time to strengthen up this area before it gets any worse. Thanks

    This is a link to a lower back exercise program. My husband’s lower back was getting so bad he was having trouble getting around. This really helped strengthen things up, and now he feels much better!

    I just grab some light weights and bend up and down. I need a better workout but thats A way.
