My wife had lap band surgery and she is having severe pain in the leg?

My wife had lap band surgery and is doing great, but she said at night she is numb in the upper part of her leg. She tries to roll on her side and ease the pain, but after a while it starts hurting again… basically the pain wont go away. We think the doctor damaged a nerve cell while he was in surgery or something. Even the nurses at the hospital said they dont know what this could be.

Help please?
