Pelvic Pain and Lower Back Pain - Going on almost 2 months?

Hello!
I had a UTI/Kidney infection about 7 weeks ago. The best way to explain my problem is; the UTI is gone, but the symptoms are still there and some have changed slightly. I don’t have flank pain anymore, but my lower back pain feels very similar. I also have pain in my lower pelvic area (around my bladder or maybe my uterus), and I’ve recently been experiencing spasms in my lower back and pelvis. Sometimes when I get a spasm, I feel a slight cramp or spasm in my thigh and/or foot.

I am also tired a lot, but it could be because I am in constant pain and I’m not getting any exercise. I’ve had pelvic exams, blood tests, urine tests, a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis, a cystoscopy, all are normal. I get urine tests whenever I go into the docs - about once a week or sometimes more, and I always have a "moderate" amount of microscopic blood in my urine. My Uro doesn’t seem to be concerned since my cystoscopy came back okay… I don’t really know him very well though. Is it normal to have a moderate amount of microscopic blood in the urine all the time? should I get a second opinion?

I got an xray the other day and get the results back soon, but no answers so far, I’m not expecting to get an answer that easy.

My OB said "If it continues for two more months, come back and we may need to look inside by surgery." she said sometimes scans don’t show everything. Does anyone know what kind of problems can only be diagnosed by surgery and not seen by scans or blood work?

Any other ideas as to what this can be? Is it possible that my back just needs to be strengthened? I haven’t worked out since my kidney infection.

Thank you in advance for taking the time!

i have problems getting kidney stones as well…you should get a second opinion because it isn’t all that normal to have blood in your urine….you may need, like me to have a shunt put in you urethra to hold the tube open so in case you have any other stones in your kidneys they can come out….the bleeding also may be caused because you have trace amounts of tiny stones in your kidney or urethra and it may be scrapping the walls…hope this helps…keep me posted
