I have scoliosis along with 4 ruptured discs, none of which they want to do surgery on. I have consulted with orthopedists, neurosurgeons, and pain specialists who are also treating me for fibromyalgia. I am currently taking Lyrica, Lortab ES and Darvon. This combination has been working well for the last several months. I stopped Physical Therapy a couple months ago, but still see chiropractor 2x's a mo.
Persistence with doctors is what's help me the most. Don't let them blow you off.

yep i have that too, they said that posture is very important. I have back pain too and the doctors think it could be fibromylgia or arthritis ( i have pain in the knees and elbows too) they have not put a diagnosis on it. Sometimes i can't get out of bed with the pain and it hurts so bad :( i don't know what to do sometimes) but i went to a chiropractor and it made it 10x worse !! but then about 1 week later i felt alot better and was not as stiff and sore but mostly heat or cold helps it and sometimes things like glucosamine rub or pensade ( it is a type of rub for joints) helps it. Hope i helped you in some way and i hope you get well soon. Have a nice Christmas.
