Groin Pain Treatment Question?

Mid-May I got done jogging, thought I pulled a groin muscle. Had an ultrasound and MRI (entire groin/abodominal area) the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong. A urologist said there might b something going on in the fascia, a physical therapist said it might b the psoas. I’m 30, healthy and in decent shape. I didn’t jog from mid-May 2 mid-October. I started jogging again from mid-Oct 2 mid Dec.
When I did, I wouldn’t get horrible pain just a tightness in the groin crease/inner thigh about the size of a ping-pong ball to a marble. On a scale of 1-10, pain wood only be around 1-3, sometimes 4, or just enough to let me know it was there. I recently got a book on trigger points, trying to find them on the psoas and pectineus, haven’t hit areas of tenderness. Besides seeing a massage therapist, what could I do myself? Is this just a pulled muscle that needs more time? Is it a tweaked nerve? Sometimes there is pain in the area outside the abs up to my ribs, pain in front of hip.

If they couldn’t find anything in the MRI then you probably just pulled a muscle and it just needs time to heel. If you ever pulled a leg muscle in track or some other sport then you know it takes a while for it to heal.
