why does shingles, cause lower back pain and down the buttox and legs. can it be treated??

2 months ago i developed lower back pain. it continues down my legs. my muscles a very week. ibuprofine helps, but it seems like these areas are still cramping.

    It is a form of herpes that everyone has also it is of the chickenpox family it comes and goes and can be treated to an extent it attacks when the body is run down and really can hurt cause it affects nerve endings.

    are you saying that you think you have had shingles for 2 months? or are you just thinking you have shingles. shingles is the chicken pox virus, and you should get a doctor to look at it. i don’t think that you should have it for 2 months, that’s an awfully long time. shingles is very painful, so if that’s what you have, yes, it hurts. hope you feel better soon. oh, try soaking in a warm tub with some epsom salts for the muscle aches.
